Season 2 Episode 24: Never Quit!

On this episode I share my new favorite podcast, Team Never Quit (TNQ Podcast) and talk about how we all experience adversity, it’s not our faults where we came from, but it is in our control to what we do about it now. I also talk briefly about our trip to Maine and Cape Cod.

  1. I found your podcast esrlier today, just wanted to tell you “thank you” . your words are pretty inspiring, and they definatly hit a nerve. Im 58, widowed, disabled, and have been being “messed with” very seriously for several years. The bullying and torture has been really “very” hard to swallow, and i have (unfortunatly) become bitter and angry because if it. Guess, i just needed to hear a real voice of “reason” to pull me “out of the “‘me”‘ hole ive fallen into. Anger, can do horriable things to a to a once kind and happy type of gal. I heard, each word you said. Thanks for being so “, open, and straight forward… Sometimes, thats really all a person needs to be able to take a breath. * 11 murdered little pets of mine have been targeted by cruel neighbors..its finalygotten to me.. being cruel and torturing innocent little amimals has taken a heavy toll on my attitude and anger buttons….. I guess, as i see it, They were innocent, i, was not. Pick on me, not the helpless creatures that have no choice or defence. Anyway…. Again, thanks… Ill try harder tomorrow to find the old, happier, more forgiving me. Ill pray for your illness, i Do understand ” pain” far better then most. 27 fractures in my spine in an ATV Accident in the ,90’s awarded me my full disability. I DO UNDERSTAND PAIN AND Its EFFECTS on ATTITUDES AND MOODS. GOD BLESS YOU AND. YOUR FAMILY. I RESPECT YOU AND ADMIRE YOUR ABILITY TO PAY IT FORWARD. THATS TRULY “AWSOME”. YOU ROCK. DV in Colorado.

    • Donna…I am truly humbled by your words. I’ve prayed in guidance in life through the good times and bad, hoping to make a slight difference in one persons life by doing the one thing I’ve always done, being open and honest and trying to share that with the hopes that somehow I send these words and thoughts out there in our world, and hopefully with Gods will, they are found and bring someone the knowledge that we are not alone in our struggles and hopefully in that way, we can gain strength and courage to move forward. Thank you very much for your reply. I don’t often hear from listeners but when I do it reminds me to keep on keeping on myself, regardless of when I get down and frustrated by the actions of others or my own actions and inactions. I will keep you in my prayers. Thank you very much once again. I am happy to share my thoughts and even happier to know in some small way, they have made a little bit of difference somewhere out there. God Bless, and thank you very much once again! Tony👍🏻💪🏻🙏🏻✌🏻
