This spider is the size of a pencil tip. I’d of looked right past it if it’s web wasn’t right in my face.
My first instinct was to wrap the web around a pencil, like cotton candy, then toss it into the bushes seventy feet below.
But common sense prevailed and I went to get the camera, trying my best to capture it’s minuscule size.
Then suddenly a breeze picked up and this little spider was flopping back and forth on it’s web, making it even more challenging to take it’s shot.
I don’t have a macro lens, yet. Just an 18-140mm Nikon. And I’m not dissapointed how it came out. After twenty or so shots, I managed a few that are usable.
Behold…this little wonder. Spinning such a complex web strong enough to capture a meal of superior strength.
Sometimes we miss the small things in life, and they turn out to be the most interesting!
Have a great day! Talk to you soon!
